As a young boy I was attracted by the charm of melodious music, but did not have theopportunity to learn music or any instrument, except to lay hands on a harmonium. In the 1950, melodious Tamil film songs fascinated me. The films ofthe 60s were real charm, especially fromPavamannippu onwards and the songs of Viswanathan-Ramamurthy and later MSV.Having listened to those classic masterpieces it is difficult to digest what is given as music. Now my past time is to listen to only the golden classics. Had close friends whowere mucicians and have had the opportunity to see mant recordings, re-recordings and so on.
I was a Professor in a leading college and quit teaching half way to provide services to the disabled.Presently am engaged in offering services to the under-privileged and to the disabled, which is, in a way my life's mission.
