Harish Raghavendra hails from a family of renowned classical musicians.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and a Masters Degree in Mass Communication. He is a software engineer turned playback singer.
He started his career as a film playback singer at the age of 18. He was introduced in Telugu and Tamil by Music Directors Raj(Koti) and Vidyasagar respectively.
He got a break with the song 'Nirpadhuvae Nadappadhuvae' in the film 'Bharathi' and the song 'Ae Azhagiya Theeyae' from Minnale was a roaring success back-to-back.
Endowed with a rich and vibrant voice, he can sing in the higher octave comfortably. With music directors composing some high-pitched songs from time to time, Harish's voice is among their favourite choices for such songs.
He has now sung for almost all the top music directors in the Tamil film industry.
