T M Sounderarajan’s biography
T. M. Soundararajan (March 24, 1923 in Madurai), is a playback singer from the Tamil film industry. He gave voice to most of M. G. Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan's songs in Tamil films. He is from the Sourashtra community in Madurai. He is a devotee of Tamil God Lord Muruga and sang many devotional songs on him.

He was conferred the Padma Sri by the Indian government in 2003.

T.M.S.is first singer introduce the stereo sistem to tamilsongs by his "mannanalum thiruchenthooril mannaven" and his devotional song can listen by all type of world tamils

It is well known fact that even at this age, he is capable of singing without any change in his voice means, it is an asset given by Lord Murugan to him as he sung so many songs over him.Let us pray to the Same Lord Murugan to give him all health & wealth to contribute more and more to our Tamil community.
