Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is one of the most handsome actors of the Bollywood film industry. He was known as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia originally. He was born on 7th September 1967. He worked a s a waiter in Bangkok but was also studying martial arts in Hong Kong. its just right to say that he was an expert in it which is why he is often reffered as Bruce lee of India. One of his friend suggested him that he try his luck in acting. Luck did favour him and after succeeding in the modelling field he was soon offered films.

He entered the silver screen with 'Saugandh'. Akshay is also known as the 'Khiladi Kumar' for the series of Khiladi movies he worked in. These movies were Mr.Bond (1992), Khiladi (1992), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi (1997) and Khiladi 420 (2000). Apart from this there are a number of hits too in his bag. these include Sangharsh, Ajnabee, Ek Rishta, Khiladi 420, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dhadkan, Hera-Pheri , Namaste London, Welcome, Singh is kingh and so on.

Though Akshay had dated a number of his co-stars and other girls but he finally decided to settle down with Twinkle Khanna.  the daughter of veteran actors Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, Their son named Araav was born in September 15, 2002.


Hobbies : surfing, sailing, listening to instrumental music, writing in his diary, currently learning to play the flute
