The late C.H. Atma made his debut in 1945. His deep, rich voice bore a distinct resemblance to his idol K.L. Saigal. His film songs were as popular as his non-film geets and his ghazals. His very popular ghazal was, 'Main nashe mein hoon'

I have followed his career for a long time. His voice is unique in a world full of sopranos. I wish his songs are played more often on radio and tv.
