On this Hanumanth Jayanthi day million thanks to hummaa as this is one of the rarest among rare Albums . Sundra Kandam one can easily say it as Hanuman Kandam as from start to end are the wonderful exploits of Lord Anjaneya . Who else can narrate it so beautifully other than the greatest Discourse Giant Sri Anantha Rama Dhikshithar . The way of presentation , his total mastery over all aspects of subjects he took attracted 1000's of devotees to his recital which would last for 30 days to 40 days . There have been many before & many after but to me Sri Dhikshithar has a place that cannot be contested .

p s krishnamurthi delhi.sundarakandam brings all prosperity,good health pease of mind and finally moksha.i wish this should come on cd so that everybody can get the benifit of sundarakandam.will humma look into it.

Thanks a million. This takes me back to more than five decades back when I was listening to the live discourse from this great exponent(Upanyasa Chakravathi) at the Siva vishnu Temple at T Nagar in Chennai. What a wonderful recaptulation of those memorable days. Thanks once again hummaa!

As the name so it goes... Sundar Is Lord rama, Devi Sita , their Lovefor each other is Sundaram, The epic is Sundaram, even more is Sundarakandam.. Sundarakandam Is the only canto In Ramayana where Whole Ramayana is sung by lord Hanuman for the first time In front of Devi Sita Before Rama Ravana Yuddha takes Place.. A melodious combinations of all... Words are always fall short in Praise of This beautiful Kavyam, Even 1000 Headed Aadishesha also can't recite Sundarakanda in one day.. If not the Grace of the Almighty How can A thief turn to be Rama Bhakta,to Sage Valmiki to gave us the Amrutham of the wonderful story forever to cherish...

Sengalipuram Anathrama Dikshithar was probably the best exponent in the Upanyas field.His knowledge,voice & the method of rendering drew a full house wether it was a concert hall or a huge playground.No one has really matched him in tha last 40 years
