Why don’t we call (address) Lord Shiva with descriptions such as has Thiru Shiva, or Shri?
All that is mangalam is Shiva. All that is auspiciousness is Shiva. That is the reason that no
epithets, appellations (descriptions) are attached to Shiva such as Shri, Thiru, etc. DISSOLUTION, signifies dissolution of the ego, “I” sense, so that we may come to know the true”I”, our real nature. Thus Shiva dissolves obstacles that come in the way of understanding of our reality. Spiritual sense of dissolution.
