[2] sAvEri raga is supposed to be very dear to sAma vEda chanters, is that true?
[3] There is an idol of vishnu at kanchipuram in a burrow (bilaM) and he is worshipped as bilahari. Hence 'bilahari aruLAla' would mean one who is blessed by vishnu...
